Cheryl Children's Home (Rescue Center) caters for children between the ages of 5 Years and 13 years. Those past the upper limit but at the home by the time they attain this age are allowed to stay on until they are able to get gainful employment after studies. Over time,we try our best to ensure that the children get a shot at life and equal opportunities as those living with their own parents.

We have two main categories of children at Cheryl's Children's Home.

• Resident Children (Currently 40)
• Non-Resident Children (Currently 116)

Resident Children: These are children who live here permanently. They are housed by the centre only leaving to attend school and only return to the home at the end of the schoolday or the term/semester if they are boarders.

Non-Resident: These are children who have been placed into foster care and are only affiliated to the centre as alumni. They nevertheless get equal opportunities and treatment as the residents. They are also eligible for sponsorship opportunities and a follow-up is done on their progress.
