Within Cheryl's Children's Home there is a great need for people who will not only take an interest in the project as a whole, but who will also take a personal interest in one of the children. The whole sponsorship program is still being gradually improved, but already we can assure potential donors that their monthly sponsorship will be passed on for the needs of "their" child with NO DEDUCTIONS whatsoever for sponsorship scheme administration.

CHILDREN REQUIRING URGENT SCHOLARSHIP

Sophie Mukami

Sophie Mukami

Sophie was born in 1998. She is the only child to her single mother. Sophie’s was disowned by her parents because she gave birth outside wedlock. The mother is single and too poor. She does odd jobs to earn a living which goes to the house rents. On many occasions they went without food. The mother appealed to Cheryl’s Children's Home for assistance. We enrolled Sophie and she is in grade four. She is a promising girl. Any assistance given to her will be appreciated.

Margaret was born in 2001. She is the third born in the family. The parents were displaced following the post election violence. She was rescued by a Good Samaritan along with her sister. They were traumatized because they watched and saw the horror of people hacking each other to deaths and burning of property. They suffered immensely in the camps. Margaret was brought to us by a government urgency seeking for assistance. Margaret was enrolled in. She is healing from what she went through .she is a promising girl and is in grade two.

 Dominic Odanga

Dominic Odanga

Dominic was born in 1992. He is last born in the family of four. The parents succumbed to H.I.V/AIDS. He was left under the care of grandmother who later mistreated him, cursing Dominic to die of Aids as his parents. Dominic’s plight was highlighted to Cheryl’s Children’s Home by a Good Samaritan. We visited him and saw the need to care and support Dominic. He was enrolled in and he is in grade eight. Any assistance for Dominic is highly welcome.
